Hi Everybody!

This is my first time as a blogger, I don't feel very comfortable using it but I am positive that it will get better soon

For this week's assignment, we had to read  about: " Is the great American teacher dead?"

It made me reflect a lot about the way my students see me and if I am the kind of teacher described in the article.

I would like to highlight some points mentioned there that I consider to be shared as part of good teaching practice.

* Concept of fairness

* Concept of self-image

*Empathy

* Generosity admired (be fair, not a tyrant)

* Jokes (keeping attention through humor is good)

* Rhythm (a good delivery)

* Encourages deep and critical thinking
